Update 3 ALPHA. The Admin Timesaver

what iam still missing is a holiday import function for each country
For real. I'm trying to get my head around the XAPI now to see if I can handle holidays that way. I'm currently in the middle of reconfiguring a client PBX with 14 different departments with the next couple years of holidays and it's getting a little tedious, but if I could template it for each different region we support customers in...

The same question .
on v20 Changelog page i see a long time last version is "3CX Version 20, Update 3, Build 20.0.3.659, August 2024" without "Alpha" :confused:

Will you offer an option at some point to disable Whisper AI on some extensions?

Hi, Great addons, congrats

About, graphs, When will we have system status graphs again on Dashboard?

Yes you need to find the crm templates shipped in the product, diff with yours and find the differences
I'm not sure about the expiration. The URL of the recording updates. So if it is in the local storage, you get the local link. But if it is archived to google for example, you get the google url.
The URL never expires (at least not that I am aware of)

For Hubspot:

In case this helps anyone (or to even make it a built in feature going forward), these are my current test results:
  • i created a custom template with the following edit:
  • XML:
    <Scenario Id="CreateCallActivity" Type="REST" EntityId="" EntityOrder="">
          <Request SkipIf="[ReportCallEnabled]!=True||[EntityId]==&quot;&quot;" Url="https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/calls" .....>
            <PostValues Key="" If="" SkipIf="">
              <Object Key="properties" If="" SkipIf="">
                .....
                <Value Key="hs_call_recording_url" If="" SkipIf="" Passes="0" Type="String">[RecordingUrl]</Value>
                <Value Key="hs_call_status" If="" SkipIf="" Passes="0" Type="String">COMPLETED</Value>
                .....
  • the url gets passed to their built in recording functionality and give you a "play button" directly on the activity card (and will also give you the "transcriptions & insights" as long as you have the correct seats/licenses)
  • from my testing, the recordings get passed into hubspot and get stored there (if the 7 day expiation is correct, as my first recording is from Sep, 16th and we are on the 24th and is still in hubspot). I will continue checking and report back in another week or so about whether or not the recordings are still there.
  • it keeps the entire recording currently as 1 track (the hubspot user associated with making/receiving the call) which breaks some of the stats as it doesn't tell you the customers answers, or their patience.

This method of sending the recording to HubSpot will be discontinued in about a month FYI.

on the 3CX side? because i haven't read anything on the hubspot side about their api changing.
if yes is there something being developed on the 3CX side that we don't know about that will break this? and if yes can we get more info for that so that we can plan accordingly?

HubSpot side. See the yellow note at the bototm of this page: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/extensions/recordings-and-transcriptions

We implemented the new way in our HubSpot integration, which requires a proxy because of how HubSpot handles it now. That proxy did allow us to do many more things tho.

i missed that, thanks. Does that mean the new reworked integration will have it built in though? and are there any other breaking changes?
3CX will not change anything because of only HubSpot lol They provide the URL, that's it.

You will need to build your own proxy to handle the HubSpot proper flow, or DM me if you're interested in using ours.

My system says "out of date" on the update page but the new version says ALPHA and gives the warning about it being a Alpha/Beta....

So even though it's not out of date, I shouldn't update because the update is an ALPHA? Seems kind of counterintuitive. Maybe there should be a "release channel" toggle on the update page so that it shows us the "Status" when comparing only to full releases or alpha or beta channels?

From the perspective of 3CX automatic updates, those get installed but the prerelease versions are manual updates so appear in the list. I’m not looking at it but usually there’s a note to the blog post about that version so one can see it’s prerelease.

A toggle to show/hide would be clearer though.
