Thank's for revamping the Welcome email template... but could you add a picture of the Windows client?

I don't have anything against MAC but our clients are 99% Windows equipped

We're a regional carrier in Canada with our own smsc and API. Planning to implement 3cx's standard as one of the options customers can choose for SMS/MMS delivery on their trunk this week.

3cx is a good fit for our managed customers, and something we're starting to promote with MSP partners. SMS used to be an afterthought, but ~50% of clients are demanding it now. Which'll hopefully translate into an easy upsell from their existing on-prem and older hosted PBX.

Thanks! It's working tonight for several clients, and we have a purpose-built 3cx API endpoint on our system to make things easy.

One question: is there a way to "enable" SMS on existing trunks where the SMS tab on the trunk is missing? It appears some customers were set up with a custom template (not GenericVoIPProvider), and I'm unsure how to get SMS working without removing and recreating the SIP Trunk.

It'd be disruptive to clients to remove/re-add all the DIDs under a new trunk. Any way to update the trunk with the generic SMS options, or possibly change a file from the CLI? Maybe modifying a file in backup/restore?

We'll be automating roll-outs of PBX next, but I'm hoping there's an easy solution for existing PBXes.

Is there any info in the new Welcome Email to instruct users to record their Self-ID greeting so they are searchable in the corporate directory? That's been our biggest pain point, especially where two users with similar names and only one has a Self-ID greeting set up and getting all the other user's calls that are routed from the directory.
