As an end user I doubt you'd care about updates.

As IT, you would be advising/doing the update.

If you mean the desktop app actually, it will check every couple of hours and if it finds an upgrade it will notify the user, so no need to manually check for updates.

If the user clicks no when the upgrade is offered, then the app will install the upgrade when it gets relaunched.

Things about updating 3CX client applications.
Is it possible to add a function to check the status of the client after automatic downloading of updates ( Ready \ Busy \ in a call \ Do not disturb ) and in the case of the "Ready" status, automatically send a restart command to the client for finish updating. I think this check will automate the update of all clients.

If using the 3CX SMTP it uses info from the License key. This field likely only applies for using custom smtp.

I remember that with Update8 for local installed 3CX you need to use a Split-DNS.
