Updated to Version Number 18.0 (Build 917)

Hi,

I have just updated my free version of 3CX to Version Number 18.0 (Build 917) and it keeps saying "WARNING! You are running a 3CX Free Edition. Registration is required. Do so before 31/12/23"

I have followed the info in the More info link but the message remains. I follow the guide and re-enter the owner’s email which is the original email. go back to the admin console and the message remains.

I have tried this several times, restarted the services and rebooted the server running the software, No change.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That email likely has another account. Every (free) license subscription owner has to be registered under a unique email address.

Hi Steve,

I have had a look and I only have the one registration, only ever had the one system. Tried changing the email to a different one and it came back with already registered.

The banner will remain even if you are running a unique email address as it is the same for everybody. So nothing to worry about really. It's just a warning so you have the correct setup in order for us to extend your license.

Correct.

3CX said in the past they will not remove it until December 2023 (and likely later)
