upgrade from v12.5 to 15.5

Hello,

Currently we have ver12.5. I've made a backup of the current config. Reinstall ver12.5 and install ver 15.5, but when I've choose during the installation restore from backup. After the setup finished, the configuration was not restored? Any ideas what could be done?
