Upgrade path from 16-3

We are getting ready to update from 16 update 3 to 16 update 5. Will we be able to just jump straight to 16-5 or do we need to hit 16-4 first? Also, since we will be updating to the final version of 16-5 and not an alpha or beta version, do we still need to install the hotfix?

It should be a step upgrade from U3 -> U4 ->U5 but I haven't actually done that myself. All my installs were already on U4.

Should be the same regardless of OS. The only difference at this point is major version upgrades (v16 to v17). On Debian you can do those in place, and on Windows you'll have to uninstall/reinstall.

FYI - i would wait until the next release as there a couple of issues with u5 that may affect you.

certain windows version had issues registering sip trunks using fqdn - this has been resolved

if you use the 3cx windows app , the sorting of contacts does not work - hopefully being fixed next week

Available from download where? From the website or from the management console? Either way should be yes. Unless there's something wrong with your system if you update until no more are showing then you should be on the latest version which, as mentioned above, has the fix. You can also compare version numbers:
