Hi.. I have attempted several times to upgrade to the latest release of version 16 (16.0 Update 5 Hotfix 2) and it continually fails (Hosted in Google Cloud Platform) - Please see the attached text file for the Update Log. My goal really is to get to version 18 and am wondering if I can just skip this Hotfix and proceed to version 18? I do not see in the management console any "button" that says click here to upgrade to version 18.

You need to be fully up-to-date to upgrade, but yes nothing prevents you from backing up and spinning up a new instance using v18 directly. Older backups should still work even though 3CX doesn't recommend it.

Otherwise, you'll have to figure out why it doesn't upgrade. Probably a repo thing or you have 3rd-party softwares installed.

I'll PM you with something to try regarding this issue.

As per our PM conversation @blarkin has successfully managed to upgrade to 3CX v16 U6.

@blarkin
You should now be able to proceed upgrading via the Management Console. Click on "Updates" in the upper-right corner and you should see the next available release. During out of office hours or during a time when downtime is tolerable, upgrade to the next release and when it comes back online do the same thing until you reach 3CX v18.

Note: I highly recommend you create backups in between updates and move them away from the server as a precautionary measure. Do this especially for the upgrade before 3CX v18 as it also involves an OS upgrade and is therefore a more "complicated" upgrade.
