We have a client with 50+ devices at main site, PBX was originally v15.5, on private hosted server. Perpetual license.
We installed an SBC on HP Pro400 running Windows 10 for the local devices, it worked great.
When we upgraded their PBX from 15.5 to 16 recently, the SBC was left on 15.
In fact now I cannot manage the older SBC from the 3CX management console.
All the phones continue to work and they report in with "via SBC @ IP xxxx",
but we cannot upgrade firmware on the phones.
I have not found documentation on inplace upgrades of SBC from 15 to 16.
Can we simply install the new version and it will read in the config?
The installer is asking for authentication key, etc, which is no longer visible in the 3CX management console.
I can wipe and install a new instance, connect to a new SBC defined in the console,
but would rather not if anyone knows of an upgrade method.
Thanks, RLD
