Upload Voicemail Prompts

I have some professionally recorded voicemail prompts for general mailboxes. Is there a way for me to upload these? I really don't want to use the handset... Thanks!

create a personal prompt in the voicemenu of the extension and than you can replace the personal prompt with your prompt.

You can go in your: C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Sets\8210986B-9412-497f-AD77-3A554F4A9BDB folder and replace the appropriate prompts.
Afterwards give IISadmin / Phonesystem a Restart just to be sure. To do this go to Start > Run > services.msc and find the services i mentioned.

I don't seem to have that Prompts folder you mentioned -- is it possible this could be different for some installs? I'm on Windows XP with the program installed on the D: drive --- I found the IVR folder but no Prompts folder inside.

I'd really like to upload the voice prompt for the extensions as well, this would be a great feature improvement.

Please firstly record once by using phone set. You will get the folder then.

C:\DocumentsAndSettings\All Users\3CX\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Sets\8210986B-9412-497f-AD77-3A554F4A9BDB

Or else if you are using something older than V7, check in: C:\Program Files\3CX\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Sets\8210986B-9412-497f-AD77-3A554F4A9BDB

One of these paths must be correct.


Go in these Folders and Replace the Dafault Prompts with the ones you have.
