Hi all,
I have a 3CX server hosted on a virtual machine within our network, with which I am having problems with.

I have installed the 3CX Android client on my mobile and set it up within 3CX and made sure that "Use 3CXTunnel when out" is checked on the phone. Then, with a 4G connection I am trying to provision the phone. Every time it tries to provision itself the connection times out. The only way I can seem to make it work is by using a wifi connection without the 3CXtunneling. I am new to networking set up and so I am probably missing a configuration setting.
All required ports are enabled, I can use the Android device is outside a WLAN.

Thanks in advance.

Hello @A3cxUser

Does the PBX pass the firewall checker? If not that is the first thing you need to fix. After that check if your FQDN resolves in the correct public IP so that the clients can reach the PBX

Open your 3cx client on your android , go to more, > setting> advance setting and check the box next to "Enable 3G" . Try it and let me know :)

Thank you for the response.
I double checked those settings, "Enable 3G" was already turned on.
I still cant get a connection though.

Does the PBX pass the firewall checker and is the extension configured to use the tunnel to connect?
Try registering a windows client that is outside the LAN. Does that work?
