Is there a way to disallow certain users from being able to see who the active calls are? I think this was possible in v11 - you would see someone was on the phone but not specifically.

I think its good that employees can see active calls. I think our culture in this office is going to initially have a problem with it. Some big brother thing they always seem to quote...

Group configuration. "Rights of Members "
It allows you to specify
1. who will show "own calls" to the group
2. who will see those calls

Thanks SY. When we upgraded to v12 all users were put in to a "Default" group. In addition there were already in their "Department" groups so I overrode the permissions.

Is there an advantage to keeping everyone in the "Default" group?

"Default" group cannot be removed, because it is a "shelter" for extensions which are not associated with other (user defined) groups. "Default" group does not have any privileges. It works the same as other (user defined) groups.
