A client has a few issues since the upgrade to V16. I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose this, please?

System extension constantly re-registering:

29/03/2019 16:46:00 - [CM504001]: Endpoint Conf:700: new contact is registered. Contact(s): [sip:[email protected]:5483 / 700]
29/03/2019 16:45:50 - [CM504002]: Endpoint Conf:700: a contact is unregistered. Contact(s): []

Bridge to another PBX keep re-registering

Extensions keep re-registering:

29/03/2019 16:50:55 - [CM504001]: Endpoint Extn:319: new contact is registered. Contact(s): [sip:[email protected]:2048 / 319]
29/03/2019 16:51:20 - [CM504002]: Endpoint Extn:319: a contact is unregistered. Contact(s): []

Calls to extensions timeout straight to voicemail. If the timeout is set to 30 seconds, calls go straight to voicemail. At 60 seconds the phone rings but definitely not for 60 seconds. More like 15.

I'm thinking this could be a Hyper-V issue? The date and time are correct and time synchronisation on the VM is disabled.

Any idea?

Thank you in advance

That's an odd one, I would not expect an update to cause these sorts of problems.

If you have updated then first check all your other updates: phones firmware and system OS for example if Windows check Windows updates and .NET framework is up to date as well as Hyper V.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response, I figured it out after increasing timeouts on the Extensions. Essentially the timing was wrong.

It turned out that someone had enabled Hyper-V Tiem Synchronisation to the Hyper-V guest. Debian didn't like this even though the times were identical.

I'm glad it was resolved. Thanks for updating the thread with your solution
