What happened to the "Deutsche Telefon Standard AG" template?
It's my favourite provider here in Germany and in fact it's one of the reasons we found 3CX for our customers.
Deutsche Telefon ist great - easy setup, clip no screening, t38 fax and by far the cheapest sip trunk provider in Germany to my knowledge.
Perfect combination with 3CX.

How come the template is gone?

I must advice to look out for another provider as the template will not come back. You may still use it as 3rd party provider with 3CX. We however will not be able to offer continious integration testing any more or support.

However I noticed that you didn't provide a reason so is that possible it is a political decision to remove the template (acquisition of Deutsche Telefon by NFON)?

Anyway, I need to make sure there are no technical reasons.
We are extending our 3CX customer base constanty and we also make use of Deutsche Telefon more and more simply because the combination of Deutsche Telefon and 3CX works great and with this package we normally have the winning proposal (best overall value for the money) when a customer asks multiple companies for a proposal.

So that combination is a win for 3CX, for Deutsche Telefon and of course for SECOIT so I don't plan on ditching either 3CX or Deutsche Telefon. That's why I need to make sure there won't be any technical limitation when we continue to use Deutsche Telefon together with 3CX.

Yes, v16 is now official. You can update a Linux install directly or reinstall a Windows one (after a backup, obviously) to upgrade.

The release candidate contains a new service will be used for Call Flow Designer. This service is introduced in the Release Candidate. Previous V16 versions of 3CX (including the Beta) did not have this service.

But on windows installs, this service is NOT added via the updates. This means that you need to take a backup of your beta, uninstall, download the release candidate we just released and install this version. You will get the service in the install.
From this moment on, you will be able to update via updates. (There are no more services that will be added for Version 16).

PBX Express is a tool to deploy 3CX in the cloud. If you are referring to 3CX in the cloud, we no longer provide that free for one year. You can get a $5 a month amazon account and host 3CX though - the license itself will be free up to 8 sim calls.

Thank you for your prompt response. Just to make sure I have understood correctly - 3CX Standard 8SC license is free "forever", not just the first year. (Not referring to the server/host charges).

Hi Flexit - Yes! The keys being licensed today and for the foreseeable future. Now it could be that the policy will change in time but the keys are going to be renewed free of charge for years to come. This is for up to 8 sim calls. Beyond that the standard edition is free for one year, i.e. the 32 SC is free for one year
