Did you found something ?
I have the same issue on a 3CX with supported provider template.
All incoming calls ends after 30 sec.

Same parameters as update 3

Yes, we did find something that could be causing this. We plan on possibly releasing an update either today or tomorrow to address it.
We'll let you know the moment release it to give it a shot.

So far our testing has been limited to inbound / outbound calling and extension to extension. Other that the chat function still tying to the Webclient all has been very solid. We are using a Clarity Voice trunk without issue.

We will be releasing Alpha 2 most likely within a couple of days so you can test to see if the issue has been resolved.

Thank you very much.

The new chrome extension is very nice, I've been using it for 2 days now and it is very complementary to the webclient . Did you plan on making it responsible? (I found that this was the case by decreasing the size but not by increasing) I am thinking about high resolutions.

Currently the DTMF can't be entered without the mouse. Num pad works on composition but not on connected line.

I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.

We've been testing the 3CX Google Chrome Extension and it's a huge improvement. One thing we're missing. Receiving a call, 3CX Google Chrome Extension popup and we can answer the call.
Usually, while talking I ignore the 3CX Google Chrome Extension and will use other software on my PC. When call ends I will not close the 3CX Google Chrome Extension and it will remain in the background. The next call that will come in will not bring 3CX Google Chrome Extension to the foreground and I have to look for it between the open applications and then answer it. Can this be solved? (i know i could/should close the 3CX Google Chrome Extension but I don't) Thanks for all the hard work!
Also my Jabra headset button does not seem to be working with the 3CX Google Chrome Extension, it does with the regular webclient in chrome.
Thanks for yur response in advance!

Hi Paul, Thanks for your nice feedback! For now you can auto start chrome..... The user can bring the extension up by clicking on the icon next to the bookmark icon in the browser. Or do you mean to auto start it as a browser app and with an icon in the system tray? Not sure that is possible but we can check.

Hi Nick,

I think the conversation may have moved on now, but yes I was hoping for something similar to your second suggestion. i.e. the app can somehow be set to start when the PC boots, without opening Chrome first. Like how the existing Win32 app will launch.

I guess I could put a shortcut to the webclient address in the Windows Startup folder, but wondered if there was a way that could be done without opening the whole page, or a way that doesn't involve pushing out changes like that to user PCs.

Thanks
Paul

Thank you @Nicolas V. for your feedback and suggestions.

We will look on both of your suggestions and we will keep the community updated.

Thank you @TelecomlijnSupport for your feedback.

Focus of window is something that we do not control completely by ourselves. When you move away from browser, the focus is part of OS to bring it up and focus it. On the other hand when you are on browser, the things are more straightforward.

I would like though to assure you that we are looking at it for possible improvements.

Hello @Paul Reynolds,

We are having also internally some ideas about this topic. We want to avoid dependencies on 3rd party installations as much as possible.

We are examining this one and we would like to see what might be the approach of Chrome team to this one.

Thanks! I think the option of adding an auto-close option to the Chrome Extension would be sufficient. So I can set the timing, for example auto-close 15 sec. If I don't use the Chrome Extension window for 15 sec it can close automatically?

Any feedback on the Jabra headset support?

Does/will the new extension have the option to independently choose Sound output? This is the only thing holding us back from migrating to the web client right now, as we absolutely need a way for our users to be able to hear incoming calls without their headset.

Besides this, all the changes in this alpha seems to be a very good move forward to making the webclient more modern and encouraging the use of it. The mobile UI makes for a very nice touch.

We are working on something along these lines. I cannot say for sure if it will make it into Update 4 at this point. Update 4 is not too far away though, so you'll find out soon! :)

I am using the Alpha on my home based PBX. It is working flawlessly and when I take the laptop to the office it has had no impact having the chrome extension live with our Ver. 16 SP4 updated system.

Anyone notice some problem with sip trunk after upgrade to alpha 4?

I noticed that "SIP Contact" sent on responses when an incoming call is intiated, is not following the SIP trunk configuration.

I did a downgrade to test and it worked. Installed alpha 4 again and the problem comes back.

Yes. But the issue for me was there were other settings that probably weren't correct. Delete the SIP trunk and re-enter. That will put the trunk on all of the new defaults.

Has anyone tried to test the 3CX Chrome plug-in with the updated copy of Edge Beta. I installed DuckDuckGo plugin and it took it.

The answer is 'yes.' I have the Chrome plug-in working on Edge Beta.
