v18 compatability

Is a 3CX v18 system compatible with a v16 system / 2 different instances? We have a couple of on-premise systems and I don't know if all of them have to be upgraded at once or can one be running v18 and the 2nd run v16 with a bridge between them.

There's been talk that it works, but 3CX supported scenario requires instances to be on the same major versions at a minmum.

V16 and V18 cannot be bridged together. Calls will work but not presence nor chat.

This is due to changes in the MyPhone API used by the bridges.
