Solved V18 - Scheduled backups

Well,
I noticed something which appears strange to me, generally on PBXs I'm creating 6 weeks rotation task for scheduled backup. This works nicely, except for one detail which disturb all the scenario.
Each time you add a manual backup, the PBX erase one of the scheduled backup already done. This behavior has no sense for me, manual backups should be extra backups and stay out of the scope of the schedule rotation.

Please i.e. make manual backups unrelated to those of the scheduled task, could it be like this in future pbx release ?

Hi @aws2p,

This behaviour sounds strange. I created a scheduled backup with rotation of 1. I can make multiple manual backups without it affecting the scheduled backup.



Are you saying that when you make a manual backup, you only have 5 scheduled backups after?

Hi Vasilis,
You seems right, I tried this morning on 2 pbxs in 234 and 237 release and it behave normally adding manual backups to existing.
So probably my bad, noticing something that is not happening, probably i was tired with no more eyes in front of the holes.
