HI All,

I've received the following email over the weekend however when checking our PBX it shows as Update 2, however when checking for available updated I can't see any U3 and above available to be updated. Can you please explain ?

The email received:
3CX will be updating the SSL certificates which are required to activate the PBX, and allow secure connections between your customers’ installation and our activation server. These certificates expire every year and are due to be replaced on the 1st December.

In order for customer systems to continue to operate without any issues, it is imperative you upgrade your customers to v18 Update 5 by 30th November 2022.

Upgrading to Update 5 is important for your customers to remain able to (re-)activate and refresh license key(s) information.

We will also be emailing the end users urging them to update prior to 30th November.

Regards,

The 3CX Team

Are you by any chance running the PBX on Raspberry Pi? I am in this situation and do not know yet how to solve as I have no access to the installations right now. Is there any way to get the Raspberry Pi version updated to Update 5?

No, its a debian install on AWS Lightsails.

Hmm, I have a Pi-Installation running which has already v18.0 Update5. I think it came from the dashboard/upgrade site.

I have another Pi-Installation running on a customer-site which hast just Update 2 and has no offers for further updates.
Am I cut from 1st Dezember on with this installation?

You'll need to move off Pi since it's no longer supported except for SBCs.

@ConceptsWeb
Do you have recommendations for replacing a Pi to another small pice of hardware?
Thanks for your help.
