Solved V18 U6: Can't log in to Webclient with new System Owner account

Hello! Please bear with me, as I'm still trying to wrap my head around the new rights arrangement and its requirements. Following a successful upgrade, and in keeping with the subsequent notice in the Management Console, I created a new extension and assigned it the role of System Owner in the default group. (I also assigned my own extension the role of System Administrator.)

Unfortunately, I find that I cannot log in to the Webclient with the System Owner's credentials. (I have double-checked that I didn't foolishly or absentmindedly disable this right for the extension.) What might I be missing here?

Hi David,

I just created a fresh extension and assigned the owner right to them.

This did not prevent me in any way to sign in to the web client.

I just deleted and recreated the user. This time, the login was successful. The first time, I had set the password myself before clicking OK; that is the only significant difference I can think of. In the end, we're hunky-dory here now. Thanks for responding!
