V20 - Change FQDN

Hello,

I dont' found anyway to change my fqdn for my 3cx install!
The problem is when creating a backup with V20 we can't select option to create backup without license and FQDN information!

Trying to release FQDN into my 3cx portal console and reinstall a new 3cx importing backup but the license and fqdn are include into backup so the problem persist.

Someone have a solution for that?

Yes the BackupCmd still appears to work on V20, I assume just need to backup everything except FQDN and LIC

eg 3CXBackupCmd --file=partial_pbx_backup.zip --options=CH,PROMPTS,FW,REC,VM,MIN

Will this work for the Hosted by 3CX instances as well? I can't check this since the command line console was removed in V20.

No, you dont have access to ssh.

We have the same situation. We need to migrate to a new license/fqdn.
It seems like the license is still in the backup file when using 3CXBackupCmd.

We don't have any information on this changing in the future.

Aside from mergers/buyouts, it would prevent someone from changing from a 3CX FQDN to a custom FQDN, or vice versa, without starting over.

Do I understand it correctly that you can't change the FQDN without doing a complete reinstall from scratch, in an on-premise installation?
So, for example, switching from sip.example.com to pbx.example.com requires me to do a fresh install and configure *everything* from scratch?
There must be another way, that's ridiculous.

we have the same issue, we need to change only the FQDN for our customer, as we had a location in the fqdn name and now he wants to use the system global.

You must re install the system to change the FQDN. If on version 20 then a full new instil is required. Switching the current machine and after releasing the current FQDN from the subscription.

how can I do the reinstall with a new FQDN? if I go to the portal, i only get the FQDN predefined and I cant select a new FQDN.
