Solved v20 Extension Import issue

Good day members,

I have an odd issue with importing bulk extensions on V20.

I export the current list of extensions to know which collum's to fill in.

I then just change the ext number the first name, last name, email address and Vm Pin, I dont remove any other commas or numbers, but when importing i get the error (file import error)

please see attached images.

When i export and remove the users that i exported and re-import import is successfull, but if i export and change only ext number and re-import I also get the same error

Looking forward to get to the bottom of this issue.

this is old , and sample file is for v16, thanks though

Are you opening this file as a CSV? i wouldnt normally expect to see the commas when opening it as a CSV in excel.

Minimum columns you need:

Number,FirstName,LastName,EmailAddress,Department

Yes I am , depends on the view , if you view text as colums you wont see the commas im viewing like this to ensure commas are there as im getting the error.

Those minimum columns are populated.
Department is default. I have tried using different departments also to no avail.

update: reverted back to Normal view on CSV for excel import worked. thanks
