Hey,

Apologies if this has been asked before, couldn't see it. The new Departments feature is great, been playing around with it and for the most part seems to keep things nicely seperated. One place I've noticed there is no seperation is when adding extensions to groups under the Call Handling section, eg Ring Group, IVR, Queue. Even with the group assigned to a particular department, when adding extensions to it as a department admin or department owner you can see extensions from other departments. Is this by design or an oversight?

Cheers!

Check your roles.. I've just tested on my end and cannot see other things under call handling other then whats assigned to the depts im in.

Have triple checked my roles and department memberships, all is as it should be.
I have 3 departments, DEFAULT, Company1 and Company2. Both "companies" have 1 user with Department Administrator role and 1 with Owner role, only the System Owner account is a member of the DEFAULT department. Both accounts in both departments can see all extensions on the system (from both departments) when within the screen Call Handling > [Queue/Ring Group/IVR] > ["Users" or "Connect To X" for IVR]. Directly under Call Handling all user can only see the queues/ring groups/IVR of their respective department, it's just when adding users/destinations the divide breaks down.

I understand what you're saying now.

It is possible to view all extensions when selecting which to add in to a RG/Q etc.

Not sure then, it does seem like an oversight.
