Solved V20 Update 2 Alpha - Multi Tenant Mode

Hello,

I just created a new V20 instance and followed the instructions to edit the config and build a PBX with the Multi Tenant mode enabled. https://www.3cx.com/docs/multi-tenant-configuration/

However, it doesn't appear that it worked correctly. The instructions show that under System, I should see a Multi Tenant section, and it shows that when I add a Department it should allow me to specify the extension numbering scheme, and it does not do that.

I updated the system to Update 2 Alpha, and i'm still not seeing these options made available.

I double checked the config file was edited properly as well, shown below:




The system in question is under a trial subscription, it would not let me select the correct system while making this post.

Please edit your post and remove the license key, even if it is a trial key for a demo.

And please let us know what the error is when trying to add an extesnion range for a department.

I opened a ticket with 3CX support and they recommended going to Parameters and locating the two paramters: LIMIT_PICKUP_TO_GROUP, and MULTICOMPANYMODE and changing the value to 1, then restarting.

This worked great
