This could be scary! Dave
unfortunately i hear the provisioning emails only work in-house - so local IP only. I've asked for them to give us some more flexibility with that email but so far it hasn't happened.rico06 said:ok I install V9 on a test pbx
No prob exept on the welcome mail, I receive the link on the remote user but with the local IP adress instead ok the public IP (or public domain)
did I missed something on the setting ?
rico06 said:it is not a big problem if the provisioning is not working for the external wan extension, it is easy to set it oup manually
the problem is that the call assistant doesnt work outside the lan (set up maually)
DaveD said:Chavous, I wouldn't blithly assume that anybody
who clicks on an update button would be able
to verify whether the update is valid. A lot of
online updates are bug fixes and interim releases.
To 'automatically' put a user in jeopardy of
downloading a major update that results in
product failure doesn't reassure me at all. Dave
I don't need to verify, although I'm sure 3cx support will chime in here in about 4 or 5 more hours (monday work hours in Cyprus).DaveD said:Chavous, if you are correct, I agree. Have you
verified that this isn't an in-place upgrade? Dave
Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
