Hi,
The VoiceMail system has a requirment for the user to use the pound key (#) for a number of menus. This works fine for a standard phoneset, but it doesn't work well with a softphone. With a softphone, I must either use the mouse to click the # or use the keyboard to shift-3 for a #.
In order to use shift-3 for a pound sign on the keyboard, I must move from the numeric keypad on the keyboard over to the full keyboard.
It would be much easier and faster to go through my messages if I could stay on the numberic keypad.
So, is there a way to program 3CX to accept an alternate character for the #? Any of the following keys found on the numeric keypad will be fine with me, but here is my order preference: / * - + .
Thanks!
