Hi Guys,

We are integrating a CRM System www.vryno.com with 3cx. It supports OAUTH 2.0 with PKCE and the development team of Vryno have explained that 3CX integration is not supporting PKCE. Is this correct? Is there a plan on supporting this in any of the future versions?

Thanks
Rohit

Where does it need PKCE?

Hello Rohit,

Well, I think it would be possible to implement it without 3CX directly providing support for it. PKCE requires that the client (i.e. 3CX) sends a secret during the authorization, and then sending this secret again every time it asks for a token. As you're defining the URLs used for the authorization and get token flows, you could define a parameter that the user would have to provide (this is the secret), and then include this parameter in the authorization and when requesting the token. You will need to manually adjust the OAuth2 scenarios created by the wizard to do this.

If at some point you want to change this secret, you do it from the 3CX configuration page, and then you authorize again.
