Wanted to upgrade to 14.0 from 12.5 license issue

Hello,

I wanted to get leverage from 3cx free maintenance program and to update a old 12.5 to 15.5 SP6, but after I uninstall the 3CX 12.5 and installed the V14 I cannot register the key even everything is correct on server.
If somebody knows to solve this please help me out, even someone from 3cx.

Shouldn't need to register. Pretty sure you can just restore the backup, take a fresh v14 backup and then uninstall and install v15.5 .

At least that's how I remember it. I'll be doing a couple of these here in the next few days and will confirm then.

Hello @purpur

As @cobaltit mentioned you do not need to activate the key on V14. Take a backup from V14 and restore it on the latest version and you should be OK.
