Was Vultr quietly removed again?

We noticed last night that Vultr is no longer listed when creating a new license or getting a config.

I've noticed this morning that the thread for Vultr is gone, and the setup guides no longer list Vultr as a private cloud platform anymore.

I have a ticket in with support and I called to ask about it, and they directed me to normal setup guide which in step 2 tells you to get the config from the partner portal, which is no longer possible.

We have 35 systems in Vultr and many more to come

We always use the 3CX Marketplace ISO to build the VM In Vultr, but how do we get a config file to upload to the system from the partner portal if they don't list Vultr has an option anymore?

We've updated the self-hosted deployment module to make deploying 3CX a much simpler and streamlined process. This involved including the Hosting providers we found to be most compatible and reliable in conjunction with a 3CX system so we recommend using one of them.

If you still insist on using Vultr you can. The 3CX image in Vultr's marketplace is still available https://www.vultr.com/marketplace/apps/3cx

You may use the same configuration file generated for On Premise linux installations to deploy so simply:

1. Deploy the 3CX image v20 on Vultr
2. When you reach Step 2 of this guide https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-vultr-marketplace/
3. Access our Customer Portal, find your key, select install > On Premise > Linux and download the setupconfig.xml
4. Upload the setupconfig.xml to the PBX Installation wizard and you should be good to go.
