Ok so we can call out and call other extensions, BUT incoming drops and the caller gets silence occasionally.
I get calls from staff who either get a call on their personal cell phone or they finally call in and they get through, with a caller letting them know that when they call in they hear silence, or very rarely a "service is busy" response etc.
I am alerted and I call in and get the same results.
interestingly enough, the calls are hitting the system and even though there is silence, it upon the caller hanging up prompts a missed call or vmail email that has no recording.
Incoming rule points the call to the receptionist extension, then if busy or no answer in a few seconds, it goes to the receptionist wireless system phone, then if not answered in a few seconds it goes to a group of 3 ext in a queue...these calls do not make it that far.
The system started this 2-3 weeks ago. all updates and system reboots have been done (windows 10 machine, dell PowerEdge server, NOT a VM - straight install.).
What fixes it temporarily is (usually for the rest or the day or 2-3 times a day) is restarting the services or the SIP service (the provider shows registration and in 3cx is will show the main inbound SIP is not, sometimes others, but mainly the main shows unregistered and I restart that service and in 2-5 min it's back up.
The SIP registration feedback between both the provider and the 3CX server are usually always reporting the same almost instantly...so never seen in the past the Service provider showing the registration with a green light and in 3cx any SIP connection showing a red light, un-registered.
This has come out of the blue...
The only other thing that has happened for a while, is that when I happen to have a reason to restart the server, all or some of the 3CX service do not start and I have to manually start even though they all are set to auto start...
