does the webclient use whatever the default record / playback audio device that is specified on the client machine?

has anyone deployed 3cx in the cloud and used nothing but the web client to use the system? in this scenario, i would assume that all traffic is on the LAN and it is not possible to prioritize voice over other traffic with perhaps a VLAN or such.

any pointers on this setup is greatly appreciated.

thank you

Yes it use the default one in Windows, which your browser provide (if WebRTC is supported, most do). If a IP phone is available, you can use it by default in the personal settings.

Some routers/firewalls might let you QoS apps like webconferencing and voice calls, whether it is SIP or WebRTC (Meraki allows this easily).

However, in this scenario, you cannot divide the stream into VLANs since you are using the same connection/IP as the client PC.
