Webclient open URL from CRM

Good morning, all!


I need some help with CRM integration, open URL with Caller Number/Id for all users.

Client side we have the 3cx webclient option to open and customize a weblink including the variable %CallerNumber%.
Our CRM just needs the phone number to open a info page about that incoming call client.
I want to use the integrated option, so we don’t have to tell every employee how to setup and what link to paste in that field.

That posting was near to my needs, but i don’t need to get a crm response and store a contact to out phonebook. We don't have to connect to crm nor get a response.

I there an easy template setup way to just deploy the link and phone variable to open?

If you don't use the server-side integration, no there's no way to do it globally for all users. It's per-Webclient. So even the same user might need to set it up at work and at home if they are using different machines.

Not really. The way the integration works, it would still add a contact to the phonebook (those can be cleared easily from the console). Other than that it would work.

Okey so i need a connection to crm? Or can i add dummy contacts each time a call comes in ? Programing that tamplet in this way?

Like I said, you cannot program it in a "dummy" way because it has certain requirements (fields required, with specific variables and such.)

The contact added MUST have the number in it and the URL is used for updating the contact so it has to be unique per-contact.

Not sure why you would want to avoid the phonebook at all cost...
