Hello!

We just transitioned from Windows to Debian in V20.
Our ISP (COSMOTE GR) blocks 10500-10999 ports for their use. In Windows, we had changed the WEBRTC_WRTC ports and we had set our firewall accordingly. This is not the case for Debian. No matter what we do we can't pass the firewall check. I presume that this is related to the so-called "nftables" in debian but I have no experience with linux.
Could someone please help with the correct settings so we can change the webrtc ports???

Thank you in advance

Chris

Hi Chris,
so in your case you are saying to have manually changed the parameters of the 3CX?

Hi Oleg! Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I changed the ports manually (to 15000- 15500) but I can't pass the firewall checker.
Is this related to any firewall debian might have?

Firewall checker does not test those ports as we manually don't allow changing them.
Why did you choose that port range? Are the standard ports used by another application that you are running on the server?

We changed the ports because our ISP blocks them for their use (Cosmote GR, Oxygen router)

In our case the firewall checker checks for the specific ports we have set in the Parameters menu:
(WEBRTC_WRTC_FIRST_PORT and WEBRTC_WRTC_LAST_PORT)

@bitn2 thank you! :)

*Solved*

So, for whoever has the same problem, after you change the ports in 3cx (advanced>parameters WEBRTC_WRTC_FIRST_PORT and WEBRTC_WRTC_LAST_PORT) you need to update the nftables.conf in debian

The command is
"sudo nano /etc/nftables.conf" then add the ports to the udp dport line
save by ctrl + x
don't forget to restart the OS!
