Hi! After I install 3CXPhoneSystem15, I add 2 extensions with different e-mails. I send for both extensions Welcome Email, but i didn't receive nothing. Does anyone know why?

Hello @Lucian,

Did you set up an smtp server in the email settings? Have you checked if your credentials are correct?

Yes, i use smtp.gmail.com (server) and my gmail account.
My credentials are correct.

When i push the "TEST" button from Email Settings>Mail Server, i received this message
  • " The operation was canceled."

I did all steps exactly like in article until " it is required to login to Gmail at least once from the 3CX Server" (same with your advice). How can i do that?

We mean open a browser and login into gmail from the physical machine not from the management console. Also disable any antivirus that might exist on the server and disable the windows firewall to eliminate anything blocking you

I don't understand very well. I login into gmail from my physical machine (laptop) with a browser (like i normally do). Shouldn't t i login from management console?

every time you login to gmail from a different machine gmail sents you an email to confirm that this is you and verify the machine. Logging in gmail from the PBX machine will allow gmail to verify the PBX machine and allow you to sent emails from there.

Yes, this is clear for me, but i don't know how to logging in gmail from the PBX machine. If it's a section in management console, I can not find.

I apologise for the miss-understanding I do not mean from the management console. I mean from the machine the Pbx is installed on.

No problem!
Pbx is installed on my laptop (windows 10), i don't have a different machine ( or a virtual one)

ok i see. After following the guide do you still get the same error? Have you disabled antivirus and windows firewall for a test?

Yes, i tried with antivirus and windows firewall disabled, same error :(

@Lucian i have sent you a p.m.

That could be a problem for users of 3CX iso image. They will need text-based email client like Alpine:cool:
