Extensions - 3CX Client

There is a check box for "Show Call Recordings", they do not appear to ve voice mail or Greeting recordings so what are they

I use the client to show them but I have none, i did make greeting wav files for this extension and I did have a voice mail for this extension

These are recording of conversations, when the PBX is set to do so.

Thanks, I understand now

or when someone hits the "RECORD" button during a conversation.

...and listing of said recordings can be found in the soft clients...
If I understand correctly, links to the recording are also found in the Call Logs.

I looked for a record button on the windows client but can not see one

If I leave unchecked the record all calls in extension setup

How can I record at my option a call on the windows client and on a Hard Phone

Below I took some screenshots of what I had available.

3CX Phone has a "Rec" button when you are on an active call.

For deskphones, some of them allow you to set a "Record" button from their interface which, in most cases, works exactly like the "Rec" button on the 3CXPhone app, however this option will have to be set in the interface manually, it cannot be done through the Management Console.
Not all phones have these options though. Also note that this option has not been tested by the 3CX R&D department, but for the below 2 models, at the time of writing this it works.

3CXPhone:

Yealink T46 (fw v28.73.0.50):

snom 870 (fw v8.7.5.35):

I am testing on a Yealink T21PE2

Line Key 1 and Line Key 2

If I setup Line Key 1 to record, does this mean that all calls will be recoreded or is there a way to toggle on and off

I get the impression that selective recording on hard phones is not a common practice - is this correct

Programable Key and a set of keys under this, I think I should leave these alone

Thanks
