Hi There, I have just recently become acquainted to 3CX and it has opened my eyes up to exactly how much my clients are over paying for their phone service from Vonage (talking about $1500 bills for 12 people). So far I've run a proof of concept for my home office lines and I'm loving what I see, so I'm hoping to join them as a reseller if the first deployment goes well.

So with that being said most of my clients are telemarketing agencies they place a lot of outbound calls and I ASSume there are a few trunk providers who prohibit these types of use cases on their network. What have you found that works best for your clients in terms of pricing and ease of use for you? I was starting with AWS chime for my home office but they were a pain to get authorized to use and they have no 911 support which is a must if I am implementing this for customers.

Thanks in advance
Ryan

Being a provider we use ourselves :). I would be sure to thoroughly vet 3CX for the proposed use case though. Your clients may have specific needs that 3CX doesn't fit so I would make sure you've covered all your bases and piloted it with them.

Yes the plan is to host on an RPI for 4 of the reps for a month before we commit and build a server for the rack. For the most part they are very basic and 3CX provides more than they will ever need the only true pilot will be building an auto dialer but that is much further down the line just getting a replacement for the desk phones will save almost $1300/mo including licensing 3CX.

Do you guys have E911 functionality?

TIA

Yes that's our defining feature! :D

In all seriousness most everyone on the 3CX supported providers does e911. Amazon is relatively new and I think really targeted more to really large organizations that handle e911 via 3rd party services. Or they just don't want the headache.

Awesome, I only went with AWS because it was the one I had an account with already for my servers but it’s was not worth the 5 day wait just to get access to the sip trunk. If you want you can DM me some information on pricing since I didn’t see any on your site. Hoping I can start the test run in a month or so.

We are a service provider. For hosting, Vultr. Later we plan to switch to our own private in-house cloud. For SIP, we use Telnyx, cheap, and endless amount of options and tweaks.

I don't know if there are any of our Supported Providers that prohibit the specific use-case you mention, but do consider having a look through our list when choosing a provider since these providers have been tested with 3CX and will ensure a more trouble-free experience when used: https://www.3cx.com/partners/sip-trunks/
