where are SMS and how to work PUSH

Greetings I have such a question, where are the SMS messages stored on the server. I would like to clean up and partly for archiving, otherwise the client is loaded for a long time due to the large number of messages.

I also ask you to explain how PUSH works in the boxed version of the PBX? We have our own piece of hardware with CentOS.

Hi Oleg,

You have to purge the Chat Logs and the messages will be removed entirely from your PBX server.

As for PUSH, do you mean how it works with the 3CX mobile apps?

Push is not 3CX protocol - protocol used to wake up a device

As for PUSH, the PBX will send a message to Apple or Google servers that so and so has a call.
Apple or Google will then deliver it to your phone, and our app will wake up and take the call.

No. You can only delete SMS messages that exist on the 3CX server and its extensions.

A recipients phone is not an extension and does not belong to your PBX, so there is no way to delete a message that reached their SMS inbox.

I'm talking about the 3cx application in the iPhone, when I download it, I connect using the qr code, messages addressed to the internal number, for example 202, are loaded. There are a lot of these messages, which causes the application to load. is it possible to set up cleaning once a month, for example, or delete them manually on the PBX?

Sorry if it was not clear Oleg, but as I mentioned above you will have to press the purge button like in my screenshot and this will delete the messages from the 3CX server, and also from the 3CX apps and webclient.

It cannot be done automatically, you have to do it manually like once a month or whenever you want. Just be aware that the messages will all be removed including normal chat messages, fb chat, live chat, and SMS chat. All messages will be gone.

Enable the chat log. All messages will appear in it. Then click clear.

Currently no - the only option is to either purge everything or manually delete messages, but i understand why this would be useful and we are aware that this will be needed going forward.
