Windows Defender (Anti-virus) on 3CX Server

Hello Team and Support,

Is it advisable to activate Windows Defender (Anti-virus) on a 3CX server running Windows Server 2016 ?

Currently I have it deactivated but for the purpose of security i would like to activate it.

More so I would like to activate windows advance threat protection on the same server.

I have it running on machines, just make sure you exclude the following directories

c:\programdata\3CX
C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System

Since it is recommended that the machine the PBX is installed on is dedicated for the PBX there is no need for an A/V software. If you absolutely must have one though then exclude the folders mentioned by @Saqqara
