Good afternoon!

I have a client who have been happily using the Desktop App with the Yealink WH62 (with BLT60 busylight attached) for the last 12 months or so - no real problems beyond a couple of faulty headsets.

Recently the Yealink software updated the firmware on the headset on most devices and subsequently the BLT60 light has stopped changing colour when 3CX calls are active. If a Teams call is active, the BLT60 changes accordingly. I suspect the firmware update has caused a compatibilty issue with the Desktop App, has anyone else come across this?

Thanks!

Hello Peter!

Give us please more information. Which version of PBX / Desktop App your client uses?

Good morning Dmitry

The PBX is running 18.0 (Build 418), Desktop App is 18.10.461.0
PBX is self hosted (in Azure).

The Yealink WH62 firmware that appears to be causing this is 104.433.0.10

@Peter Tomlins we do not integrate the busy light, this is something that Yealink automatically changes when they detect a call.

Since they released an update that changes this behavior (one we do not control as mentioned above) I think it is best to report this directly to them so they can investigate it. If they give you any feedback you wish to share here, please do so.

PS: The part that 3CX integrates for headsets is the button presses (ie. answer / hangup / reject / hold / mute)
