@ThomB_3CX will the Windows Softphone V5.4 contain fixes for the Yealink Headset integration.

We have so many issues with Yealink Headsets and other also have, see below. Most of the issues do not appear when you turn of the headset integration. Hard to understand, given that Yealink is the recommended supported 3CX Headset vendor.

Hello,

we have over 100 Yealink WH62 and still problems. From time to time the headsets stop working (no sound) and we have to unplug the base station to use them again.
This problem occurs much oftener when the headset integration option in 3CX v20 Windows App is activated. But without this option we can't use the button n the headset to answer an incomingcall and the base station doesn't ring when an call is incoming.

Do you have similar problems? Or do you have an idea how to fix that problem?

Our users are really frustrated.

We think about changing our headsets. But what model...

Nature and Scope of the Problem
Our organization is experiencing a system-critical error that not only affects individual employees but compromises our entire call distribution system. The problem manifests as spontaneous registration loss between Yealink WH64 DECT headsets and the 3CX v20 web client platform (progressive web application) during active operation.

Thread 'WH66 outgoing issue'

My client is able to answer calls from the touch panel on the base station of her WH66 but when she attempts to phone out from it, the panel shows the number and "outgoing call.." but from the 3CX the same call doesn't show in the call logs. She says that there is no audio but I suspect that the call isn't able to connect via the app. Any ideas what might be the problem here?

We are experiencing the same issue with answering or hanging up using the headset. We do hear the ringing on our side.

Interestingly, on Yealink's website, the 3CX logo appears on the WH64 product page, and we also received a promotional email where the 3CX logo is featured alongside the WH64.

For comparison:

The Yealink WH62 and WH63 headsets work perfectly fine with the 3CX Phone.

The WH64 works flawlessly with Microsoft Teams.

Here is a summary of the tests we performed:

@Florian87 Thanks for your feedback

We are working with yealink on these. We were provided an updated firmware for their SDK but from our internal testing, it is more problematic and we most certainly cannot include it.

In terms of quality of the firmware and of the hardware, you have to take it up with yealink. We have literally nothing to do with this....

@N_G just to avoid frustration, would it be worth to recommend Jabra over Yealink? From a partner or customer perspective I just would like to know what works well and what not on a integraton level. Within my ticket #2228650 3CX did never state that there are know problems with the firmware/sdk... as @ThomB_3CX said above. Here https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/ only Yealink seems to be officially supported.

3CX has now re-added Jabra to to the list of supported headsets on https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/, but on the linked website https://www.jabra.com/de-de/business/for-your-platform/3cx there still isn't the 3cx v20 App mentioned, only old versions (v6, v12-v15, v18)
