Windows to Debian - How to move recordings?

Good Day

I've got a decent chunk of recordings to take across and I do not want to backup/restore or archive them off.

Is there a way I can just copy them from Windows to Linux with WinSCP or would there be errors with other linkages?

Just copying them over won't work I'm afraid as they need to be also indexed in the database, meaning that the only correct way to do this is actually take a backup including the recordings and then restoring that backup on the new machine.
