3CX Phone System Version3.0.2328.0 (Free Version)

Extension 8007
Extension is external
Bind to Media Server
X-Lite V3.0

Extension 8000
Extension is Internal
Bind to Media Server
SPA2000

When make call from 8007 to 8000, just 8000 can hear voice from 8007. No voice from 8007 to 8000.
But, If I change X-Lite V3.0 to a SPA200 them working fine. OR when I setup a Internal extension use X-Lite, it work fine. So, I think my server setup is good but only X-Lite V3.0 for Extension is external with some problem. Or maybe the ports problem?

Any suggestions for this? Thanks!!!

Address specified by external extension 80007 is not global. Configure X-lite (external) to "Discover Global Address".

try adding a stun server to the xlite account.

that solved my audio problems with xlite.

working now!!!Thanks!!!
I set a stun server to the xlite account.

cool mate glad i could help out

same issue

cant seem to get the external xlite to give audio in both directions.

I can connect and resolve to my pbx from xlite (external). I hear audio on my laptop but not inbound to my sip phone inside.

I have tried with and without the stun server with same results. The xlite is on a sprint broadband cellular card no router.

any ideas?

and the router on the server side?

router on server

port forwards on router. PBX attached as well as Linksys 942's to this router.

You also need 9000 - 9003

Is you XLite configured as an extension?

xlite extension

It is set up as an external extension (201) and I do have ports 9000-9003 open. If you look at the previous post you will see ports 8000-9998 open.

all comm works fine with normal inbound calling. It is only when the extension is outside of the pbx that the audio is not being transmitted in the one direction.
