When will the Yealink CP965 conference phone be available in 3cx? Three weeks ago I requested a quote for CP960's from our vendor, and now they came back and said that the phone went EOL and is replacing it with CP965. I want to be sure the CP965 is in 3cx before I place the order as I will soon be placing another order for more phones for a building expansion we are currently in the process of doing and things will be ready soon.

Hello,

There is no solid date, but it is planned for between update 3 or update 4 timeline-wise.

At the moment we cannot yet advise you to place an order.

Thanks John for the reply to let me know that it will be added later but unknown on the exact date. Would there be a date for Update 3 or Update 4 release as 3cx is currently on Update 2?

Just a little worried about buying a newly-released phone and not being able to set it up in 3cx

Sorry @sbrammer I have no ETA for the time being!

I would say minimum 1 month, but this is just a blind guess for now..

Hello @JohnS_3CX
Are there any updates on the date for support Yealink CP965?
Thank you

Hello,

Currently scheduled for release with V18 Update 3 for models CP925 & CP965.
Unless we come across any unforeseen issues, they should appear in the next update.

Great news !
Does the CP935W will be part of the party ?

No, just the ones mentioned above. We don't plan on supporting any WiFi based devices.

And for our currently supported lineup, any models that have LAN+WiFi are only supported in LAN mode.

Does that include models like the T54W and other wireless capable desk phones?

JohnS_3CX will the CPW935W work on the 3CX as a simple SIP device? Or will I need to tell the customer to go for the CP925 instead?

Unknown, we have never tested that model.

If you want to be supported, go for the CP925 which is fairly new and supported.
