Hi

I'm trying to get Yealink Phones updated with the Dutch Firmware. The update is available like this:

Screen Shot 2020-11-17 at 3.42.08 PM.png

Doing like this and OK.
But nothing happens. However other Auto-provisioning is working (not a 'only Trusted Certificates' issue).

However it put clearly 'ONLY FOR BENELUX Customers (BENELUX = Belgium, Netherlands or Luxemburg).

What in the 3CX system decides about this parameter?
I have a 3CX FQDN ending on .be extension.

I need to apply this later also on a Custom FQDN ending on .net, but it is a Belgium customer, however the license was resold through another EU country.

Any hints?
Thx!

Hi,

The message you see there is informative, not decision based.

The reason the phone may not be downloading it is because the device is not sold by Lydis.

You may have to contact your Yealink distributor or Lydis for further advice.

Can't be there a Dutch translation not vendor locked in?

Not sure about that one, the vendor that produces the firmware can put limitations on the upgrade.

3CX provides it as a courtesy for customers that already use that firmware (so they can upgrade), but we do not provide support for it or help to switch across different firmware lines.

You might have to contact Lydis directly to get more information.
