Solved Yealink Ringtone for Receiving Blind Transfers

I am trying to change the ringtones for our Yealink Phones.

The Yealink T5X template has the following options:
- Configure default ringtone
- Configure Queue ringtone

However, changing either of these does not affect the phone's ringtone for a blind transfer (i.g., when a phone rings from another extension blind transfering a call). Is there a way to set this?

At this point, I think the types of ringtones. by various originations, is still limited.

Currently there is no way to differentiate between a normal call and a blind transfer so the same ring tone will be used by the phone.
You could post your idea on https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.

I was able to get this working with a custom template.

On the official template under the "Distinctive Ring Tones" section I changed "distinctive_ring_tones.alert_info.2.ringer =" to the ring tone I wanted for blind transfers.

It would be really helpful if all of these distinctive ring tones options were available for configuration in the official template.

Glad to issue has been resolved and thank you for sharing your solution . We are adding more more options that can be configured through the management console with every update however we cannot add everything as the list would be huge and not practical.
