Trying to add 4th phone (upgrading from Polycom VVX). Upon boot, I see Auto Provision request, but shows "Update Skipped!". Factory Reset, Reboot server, tried adding to extension, not sure what I'm missing this time around...

Hi Mike,

Please provide some more information to see if we can help:

  • What version of 3CX are you using?
  • How is the phone provisioned? (LAN/STUN/SBC) ?
  • Are you using the latest 3CX firmware and default template for this model?
  • Has the phone been reset and appears under your Phones section?

Check out the relevant 3CX guide for the T46S here, it has all the info you will need as well as links to firmware https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t4-series/

I manually entered provision URL via Phone interface, and provisioned = Good. I did note that the firmware shows as "Not supported": Not Supported 66.84.0.35 My prev phones are running 66.83.0.55, but 66.84.0.35 is what is on 3CX download. Hmmm.

Running 15.5.0
Lan
Yes
Yes

Firstly I would recommend to update your PBX to V15.5.15502.6

"Update skipped" is normal on Yealink, that should not be considered a problem in your setup

Latest Version on 3CX V16 = 66.84.0.35
Latest Version on 3CX V15 = 66.83.0.55 -> Use this one in your case, can be downloaded via your Dashboard

Select the device from the Phones menu in the dashboard, and click +Firmware to update it to the compatible firmware version. If this is not possible, you can get the firmware file from your PBX folder under:

Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/youruniqueID/firmware

..and then upload it to your device manually https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/firmware-update-yealink/

Thanks John_S, will do!
