Yealink T53W looses registration

Our Yealink T53W phones tend to loose the registration from time to time. Sometimes in the middle of a call. I can't see any pattern. Sometimes it works fine for 2 or 3 days. And sometimes they loose reg. 2 times a day.

We've connected the PCs to the phones and also use the webclient in Chrome. Every time the phone looses reg. the webclient closes 1 second before the phone shows "no service".

Only a restart of the phone(s) brings them back.

Maybe somebody has an idea?

About how many phones you are talking?
Do all phones suffer the same issue?
Are all phones get their power from their own external power adapters or from PoE?
If PoE, are they connected to the same PoE switch?

There are four T54W (got the model wrong in the headline) and one T53 which are all connected via PoE to the same switch (Unifi Switch 48 PoE+ 802.3at).

One phone tends to disconnect more often (as far as it seems to me) than the others. However, only the T53 seems to be fine the whole time.

I've already tried to factory reset them, disconnect the PCs from the phones, plugged them into different wall jacks and changed the cables. Always with the same result after some time.

Even when the webclient disconnects, the PC keeps the connection and it's IP. So do the phones. They only loose connections to the server. However, just trying to pull the config again doesn't work. They have to get restarted for getting them back connected.

The server is running in Hyper-V machine based on 3CX's Debian image. The virtual switch is basically a second NIC.

Also make sure you are running a single NIC on your VM if there is no reason to have a 2nd one.

Improper configuration may lead your devices to lose provisioning. If you are using a segregated network approach the 2nd NIC must not have a gateway

That's exactly what I've also found in the meantime. Turned out a legacy network card was configured AND the ntp was not installed in Debian. However, thanks for the link.

I have changed both points now and will keep an eye on that for this week and reply.
