  • Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model: Asterisk

  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: YES

Hello,

On copying the base template to a custom one without any changes I am now unable to click any of the options on the Phones tab such as reprovision, reboot, firmware.

If you are able to assist please.

Hello,

When using a custom template, unedited from the original, you should still be able to use the Reprovision/Reboot/Firmware buttons. The moment this stops working is when the template is modified such that the PBX does not recognize it as a supported device OR if the wrong template was used.

Note that this model is configured via yealinkT4x.ph.xml so if you used the other template as a starting point it will not work.

This would suggest that something went wrong when you created your own template so you should probably reset the phone, delete the custom template, and then start again using the yealinkT4x.ph.xml as a base.

Hi John, thank you very much the yealinkT4.ph.xml did the trick! Didn't realise that held the T54W provisioning was listed there.

Also while modifying the model line to the following: "<model ua="SIP-T54W" defaultlogo="yealink46.png" logowidth="480" logoheight="272" logobitdepth="24">Yealink T54W-yealinkt54w_custom</model>" also ungreyed the box. WIll avoid messing with this though!
