Since THIS thread is locked, I'm referring to it here.

Anyone else still having an issue with this? I have added the mentioned feature setting in my template and reprovisioned, but no change. A Park button press does nothing.

Hello @garn

What PBX version are you using? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard under the Information column next to the licence.
Also what phones are you using with what firmware?
Please note that the option has been added in the latest template updates so you you should not have to manually add anything if you are using the default templates

Hi,

So I'm running the latest v15.5.10244.4 and the trouble firmware is 28.82.0.20 all on T46G phones.

If I revert back to 28.81.0.110 it works fine.

I'm not using the default template, who does?! So I added the new feature setting as specified in the previous thread.

Hi,
I'm not using the default template, who does?!

I use the default template for all of my Grandstream phones.

If you can get away with it, thats great. I specify everything from codec priorities, dial plans, audio settings, multicast paging addresses, dialnow settings, autoprovision based on location, remote phonebooks, line and park keys, etc. etc. etc.

A configuration for us using a default template is reallly not even feasible, and I have to think that would be the case for most people.

Any suggestion on the issue?

You asked "who does" regarding Default Templates. I was showing you atleast 1 that does.
I have a T48 on 35.82.0.20 and it is working fine.
Sorry, I do not have a 46 on hand at the moment.

Perhaps I lacked what I assumed was obvious context, but it was a rhetorical, not literal, question.

Back on topic!

So if I recall, my phone was Factory Reset at some point in the recent past. I tinker often. But due to Safari and Chrome security, I'm having trouble getting into the phone at the moment.
My default template does have this:
# Configure the call park mode. 0-XSI, 1-FAC, 2-Transfer (default).
features.call_park.park_mode = 2

Perhaps that, combined with the factory reset, is what allowed it to be set properly.
Again, dont have a 46 to test.

Hi garn,

In your fist post made a point to the old solved post - THIS

So, do you have the same problem? I mean, do you see only the XSI and FAC in the 'Call Park Mode' drop down of the 'Features > Call Pickup > Call Park' page. Login to the phone and check this.

If it is like this and you see only the XSI and FAC there, you need to follow to the last reply of 3CX guys:
"After contacting Yealink, the default value of this field should be in all V82 Firmwares Transfer.
However to ensure the setting, it will be added in the template.
In case you don't have this option at all in the GUI of the device, you must contact Yealink directly as this is nothing which can be controlled by 3CX."

As I can see it's Yealink issue and need to be solved with Yealink support.

You could also try to provision a phone with the default template to see if that solves your issue. If it does compare what is different with yours and adjust accordingly.

I did use factory resets each time I've played around with template changes.

In the phones UI, the only option available for Call Park Mode is FAC, however this is also the case on the previous firmware that works correctly, so I don't see anything that stands out there. Although it may be a Yealink phone, 3CX does have officially supported firmware for this device, and moving to that new supported firmware breaks a previous working config, I feel it makes sense to inquire with that channel as well.

I will try provisioning a test phone with the default template, that is one thing I have not yet tried.

So it does work on a default template, I'll do an in depth comparison of template differences and do some testing.

I'll do an in depth comparison of template differences
on Windows, try Notepad+
on Mac, try Filemerge

or even Microsoft Word's "Track Changes" routine.

Glad you were able to narrow down the issue. You might want to consider the following guide when creating a custom template. Yealink phones have some specific requirements when it comes to templates.
