Hi,
With the licensing changes to extension limits, it'd be great to see 2 changes to help reduce extension requirements:
A dedicated API key
Ability to route Operator to call handling objects

Currently we have a baseline of 3 extensions before we even start adding any users; our dedicated System Owner extension, an Operator extension and a System Administrator extension used for API access.
We can't consolidate our Operator extension into our main System Owner extension as we have forwarding setup for the System Owner to forward to our support desk for clients.
We can't consolidate our API user to our System Owner extension as we have MFA enabled on the System Owner which isn't supported in API authentication and also we want to minimise exposure to potential breaches by not having the API user set as the highest access role, System Owner.

Appreciate we can consolidate operator and the API user, and also thankfully we can now disable Operator altogether for customers not interested in this feature, but we have some use cases where having these two options available to us would help us keep some of our client's licensing as it is.

Operator extension purely for customer to call you? this is the same operator extension that is used when dialing outside of voicemail so assume you disabled that?

if its purely for customer to call you, then set up a bridge between you both and present your extension to them. There's 1 saving.

For API keys: Integrations > API.

Sorry, didn't see this either.. No, we use our dedicated System Owner extension as a method of contacting our helpdesk, which is why we couldn't use that as the Operator extension as we wouldn't want everyone bouncing out of customer voicemails to end up in our helpdesk queue

whats the operator extension for then? just assign that to a staff member and get rid off it

For bouncing out of voicemail, we have some customers that like to give callers the option to try reach someone else. Currently all deployments using it the operator simply forwards onto the main queue/ring group
