We have a T54W router phone setup on a site which is also an extension. The SBC is on this phone is showing as up and working fine but the extension for this same phone is showing as offline.
I'm unable to add phones as a router phone if i've previously registered them with Yealink's MCS with an autosync to the phone server as RPS. Do I just need to put in a dedicated pc sbc or rely on stun?
I don't think this is exclusive to Yealink phones but there has been a lot of activity here regarding the switch to SBC setups now with added functionality of the T53 and higher models. I've been converting my remote workers from STUN setups to SBC now that Router Phones are supported. All of...
Sorry if this is documented somewhere and I have missed it, but when using a router phone (with other normal phones connect to it) does the router phone need a static IP/reservation like the SBC's do?
Thanks
I see a router phone can connect through itself. Can it be set to use 127.0.0.1, so the connection works if the phone moves to a different network and hence IP?
Thanks,
Hi,

Hi,
Has anyone tried to configure a hotdesk phone behind a supported Yealink T5 Series Router phone?
I have a Yealink T53 configured as a router phone but I cannot seem to configure a hotdesk phone to be behind a router phone (the option to select a router phone is not in the drop-down list...
We set up our first router phone on our first Startup Pro plan. Provisioned the phone in our office as a router phone and tested for a few days make sure everything worked fine. I then took it to our client's site where it initially registered, but then dropped sometime after I had left. What...
Dear team,
We have borrowed an IP-Phone Fanvil model v62 from our partner. We are confused about the feature router phone configuration on the 3CX PBX. Look at my attached image. Where is the menu router phone on the 3CX PBX? I think the 3CX guide is not clear.
The new router phone feature in Update 6 will it allow to configure the phone as a hotedesk phone?
Or must the router phone be fixed assigned to a User?
