It appears that your activation servers (activation.3cx.com) are down. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including running traceroute on both the 3CX Debian machine, and my host machine, resulting in the following;

Traceroute on 3CX Machine;
Code:
root@CAON-3CX-V:~# traceroute activation.3cx.com
traceroute to activation.3cx.com (151.80.125.88), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets

I had a friend also run traceroute from a different location.

What makes you think the activation servers are down? Trace and ping are tools to determine a route to something and if it's responding to ICMP which I believe the activation servers do not do. Are you actually having an activation failure?

Yes, I am unable to activate a fresh installation using the Linux ISO which I downloaded earlier today.

there is no issue with the activation service from our side.

I'm not sure what's wrong then because as I said, I downloaded the ISO today, and it fails to activate.

If you are in a VM ensure the time is correct, and also ensure your firewall is not blocking any traffic.

You can look further into if you want to get into details, and will have to run a capture when refreshing the license to see what happens connection-wise and if the server handshake is failing.

It is inside a VM on proxmox, the time is correct, and their is no firewall.
